What is the point of this thread? Like really? The title just seems to be designed to spread random hate. The guys linked twitter feed is pretty boring and non relevant. There is literally no reason for this thread to exist on the Unity forums.

Just glancing over past threads the OP has created makes me feel like he’s trying to imitate a certain someone known for very clickbaity topics and failing to pull it off properly. After all that other person is very good at what he does.

I am not trying to imitate Master Frog or Arrowx. I know my limitations. They are in another league.
This thread is about the radical shift in tone of someone once at the helm of Unity who retired to ‘follow his passion of making games’. I am just saying, it is surprising how everyone is coming to see ‘Free 2 Play’ as the cancer of the industry due to the clutter and excess of games that it creates with a low entry barrier, when no farther than 2010 everyone was calling it ‘the future’ including Unity and how every Indie mocked a certain Nintendo CEO for calling out on the imminent devaluation of games.
Problem is that most of you have missed the point on him being ‘just another random guy’ Twitter account seemingly not knowing that he is one of the three Unity founders.
But it is true, there is no point to this thread
