Hey I thought your game looked familiar, I just had a look over on touch arcade. Looks very good! (I was hoping when I saw it it was another Unity game )
Yeah, I’ve posted a few places on the internet(s) lol.
Thanks for the kind gesture! Yeah, we used the Unity game Engine and have been very pleased with the power of the software package. Guys at Unity are doing a fantastic job.
Look forward to making better iPhone Games! I’ll post again once iLandCars goes LIVE on the App Store. I called Apple this morning. It takes a long time. 5-10 business days. Argh!
This looks a lot of fun. I like all the various car options and multiple worlds to race around in plus the fact they are related to real world places. Nice work.
Thanks for checking us out! We noticed a lot of customer complaining during reviews of racing games on the iPhone App’s community. We took the liberty of creating a FULLY roaming base video game that runs 3D extremely well. Unity’s Game Engine was the ticket!
The best thing about iPhone development is we can continue to create more open worlds and more vehicles - For later versions. That way players can really find and explore the digital content while keeping a casual mobile phone game ability. Easy to pick up and even more fun as you go.
We hope to bring more fun and exciting content to both iLandCars and other Game Apps.
Its taking longer than expected for iLandCars to go live. iLandCars was submitted for Apple Review on July 17th, 2009. It has officially been 9 business days and still no head-way on the review process. Apple Review is not exactly transparent in their process.
We will be sure to post soon to let you all know that iLandCars has gone live on the App Store.
