iLife sound effects

I have read the license agreement, and under 2C of the iLife 09 license, it states that you can use audio content contained or included with the Apple software on a royalty free basis to create original soundtracks for video/audio projects. It continues to say that you may broadcast/distribute soundtracks which were created using the audio content, however, you can’t redistribute the Apple audio content on a stand alone basis, nor can they be repackaged as a part of audio samples, sound files, sound effects, or music beds.

However, since I’m making a game and not a video or audio project, I’m unsure if I can use them. It would make my life so much easier if I was allowed to use the iLife sound effects, however, I find the legal documentation unclear if this is acceptable or not. Does anyone know if my use would be legal/lawful?

A game is a video/audio project. Nobody is going to buy your game to steal the iLife content, in order to use it for their own endeavors. There’s no possible way I could imagine we’re not in the clear.
