"Illegal instruction" when starting 2018.1.0.b13

Hey everyone,

Just upgraded my Unity version yesterday. When I tried starting it today I got an “Illegal instruction” message in the terminal. Previous version I had was 2017.3.0.p2 which I never had any problems with.

Core dump (hope I got the right file):

If any other information is needed I’m happy to help.

Regards

There’s a problem with some AMD processors. [2017.4.0f1]( Unity on Linux: Release Notes and Known Issues page-2#post-3450797) is the latest that works for those of us that are affected. @Tak mentioned it in the [Known Issues for the 2018.1.0b1]( Unity on Linux: Release Notes and Known Issues page-2#post-3450822) release.
