I'm noob. I've some questions about 2d Social game developing

Hi, I’m Chris and have no experience about 2d social game developing by unity.

I have a plan to make ‘city building game’ and have no idea what are things that I can do build it easily comparing with others.

UNITY 4.6.1

photon server ? node.js server?
and
which database is good for ‘city building game’ as social game.

Do you mean you don’t have any experience with unity at all? I’d suggest doing some simpler projects at first, studying the live tutorials and learn section.
