i'm running unity on a mac. there is no option to build to windows.

so there were a few other people with this problem and they just literally hadn’t installed windows platform support, so that’s what i did. my installation is unity 2019.3.7f1, with platform support for mac, webgl, and windows (i have not tested webgl to be fair). i even have the little logos on the installation, so you know we’re in business.

but, from the build settings, under the PC, Mac & Linux Standalone tab, I can still only choose mac os for my target platform under the dropdown menu


i’ve tried saving and relaunching. most of the troubleshooting on similar posts seem to be ‘try reinstalling’ but that’s like, exactly what i already did, right? does mac just not support windows flat out- why was i able to download it?? what do

okay i resolved his eventually by just reinstalling like three times. i have no idea what i was doing wrong but i guess this is resolved
