Image effects aren't working correctly on some MACS

On my Macbook and my friend’s mac, whenever I enable a post-processing effect, the graphics go completely crazy. Once it’s disabled, the graphics go back to normal. This doesn’t happen to me when playing on Windows. Is this because the mac graphics card can’t handle the PP effects correctly? I thought if it can’t handle them correctly, then it’s just suppose to disable the PP effects instead of show them crazily like it’s doing.

The top pic below is how it’s supposed to look. The bottom pic below is with image effects enabled on Macbook and shows the graphics craziness that happens as a result.

It’s likely this is a graphics card issue. Do you have any specs for the Macbook?

The specs are below. It has the latest software updates also. Again, the gameplay isn’t affected, it’s just that the image effects cause the visuals to be crazy looking every time they’re turned on. This doesn’t happen on the Windows computers I’ve tested it on. It only happens on macbooks so far that i’ve seen.

The graphic card is a sub par one (Intel GMA950).
On such a card you optimally would have scripts that disable the postfx completely (the island demo JS that handles that would be a starting point to get an idea on how to do that)
