Image quality problems

Hi,

when I create some images for our GUI, they are clear and sharp but when I compile the exe they look very bad.
Is there any setting somewhere where I can influense this?
Example is attached.

Thanks!

That looks like scaling artifacts. How is the image being used/displayed? Is it being rendered at a non-native pixel scale? In other words, are you drawing it at a different pixel size than the native image size? If so, you can either (a) resize the source image to the size you’ll be displaying it at or, if it needs to scale to match different screen resolutions, (b) try adjusting the various texture import settings in the inspector.

Hi,

can you please help me finding the various texture import settings in the inspector?
I can also offer you to help us on freelance base, as we really need help at this point!

Thanks!

Can you post a screenshot of the inspector import settings? It looks like you’ve set the texture dimensions setting too small, have you tried making them larger? Are you using Unity 3.1 or 2.6? The texture settings inspector panel has been changed in 3.x so you may have missed something there.

The texture import settings are what’s shown in the Inspector panel when the texture is selected in the Project panel.
