Implement websockets in HoloLens to Connect to Socket.IO

I was wondering if anybody figured out an implementation of websockets that could deploy to HoloLens? so far I made an app using the library found in the asset store but it won’t deploy to the HoloLens. Currently we’re using a polling method to update something in our application but sockets would reduce the server load for us.
