Hi,
I have a mesh that has animated UVs on them. The mesh itself is not animated. is it possible to import it into Unity? A quick search on these forums point me to some 3rd party plugins but I need to confirm if this is possible (or not) out of the box in Unity.
We are on Unity 5.x (Windows 7).

Unity does not support that at all. I am interested though in what are you using animated uvs for, don’t even know any 3d packages that allow you to animate uvs.

Thanks for the response Mike. Pretty much all package we use at work (Maya, Houdini, our proprietary anim package) allow animating UVs. We are using it for a custom projection mapping for Oculus that’s animated over time. We found a workaround in the meanwhile so we are good for now.
