Import model problem

Hi, i created the house model in maya. and i export into FBX format then i import it to unity3d. But i cannot see the top of the house model.Its looks like a transparent view. The inner view of the house is looks fine. wats the actual problem ?

you should have two faces for ur roof model (one is normals facing inside house and other outside),if u have two sides u need to check ur normals

ansari is right, recalculate or flip your normals and export again.

unless you have just one plane for the roof in which case you need to either use two planes or a cube.

I've had a similar problem with Maya.

In Maya, make sure Reverse Normals is selected. Then all your models should look fine in Unity.
