IMPORTANT: Unity sprite editor: ''slice'' is faulty

Suppose you have an image of 32x16, a tileset of two tile sprites of 16 pixels each one, perfect dimensions.
When cutting with slice grid by cell size, the cut is not made in the middle, part of the right tile sprite will be on the left one:

Doesn’t happen here in 2018.4.

Have you tried settings sprite import setting Max Size to its max dimension?

In this case to 32. Now you have it at 2048.

I would be interested to know if it makes any difference.
