Imported 3DS Models Scale is 1,1,1 no matter the true size

I’m curious if this is the correct way of importing models. So I can import an object that real width is 200 meters and then an object that has a width of 0.25 meters. Both have a scale of 1,1,1? What? That seems counterproductive!! Please tell me this is incorrect or a mistake has been made?

the 1,1,1 is the mesh scale in the unity engine you can change it in both your 3d modeling program and unity and its not recommended to ever change it because it can cause awkward physics (slower or faster) physics if you want to change a mesh size in unity select the 3ds file and change the scale in the inspector panel or if your mesh doesn’t use physics you can change the 1,1,1 scale i don’t believe it will make any troubles , and the 200 width and 0.25 is relative to the modeling program
