Imported Asset crashes editor without pulling up a bug reporter

The mesh doesn’t have UV’s for lightmapping. This is true.

Okay…

I did try jumping in and making sure the lightmapping job wasn’t running before.
However this time I got in fast enough and it didn’t die.

So: What’s the take-away here?

Better error checking for meshes that don’t have UV’s, here is one thought:
Offer the possibility to add the lighmap UV’s in the Meshes regular inspector dialog? Or something :wink:

Anyway, no UV’s = crash at the moment in U 5.0.1 full release.
