Imported Character, overlapping vertices, seeing through

Hi Folks,

I’ve got a problem with my imported Character. It’s moddelt, rigged, properly painted and animated in Maya. I’ve done a sneak animation and it looks fine in maya, but in Unity you can see through the parts of the model where vertices are overlapped.
How can i fix that? I’m not able to do a sneak animation without overlapping vertices. The other odd thing is some vertices are not in the same place where they are in maya. (look between his legs )

Perhaps the normals of those faces are backwards. Not sure how to do this in maya, but I am sure there is a way to select the faces and “flip them” or reverse the normals.

Thx Bridin,
But i’ve read this suggestion in other posts too, but in my case this didn’t work

I fiexed it!
The settings of my texture shader where wrong. it was set to “Diffus + Transparent” after setting it to “Diffuse” it worked.
