Importing blender files to unity

When I try to import my blender as a .3ds my blender model goes all weird and less detailed and more round. I can not figure out what to do i have messed around with the unity import setting but nothing changed.

Check if in your import settings of that model, at Normals & Tangents, normals are imported and not calculated.
If it is already the case then you should check if your normals are correctly mapped in blender.

Also, the cut between faces in the series of white and black gradient happens only if you didn’t merge the vertices between the two faces where the edge is, i dont know if it is supposed to be that way so ill just leave this here.
