Importing C4D vs. FBX questions

Hi All,
Have some questions about importing C4D files as opposed to importing FBX files. Are there differences in the ways that the models get imported? In other words, if I have model A in C4D and export it as an fbx file, then import both into Unity is there a difference between the two models? I’ve read through some of the items in the forums, manual, etc. but am thinking that some of the info is different from how it applies to Unity2. Thanks in advance,

As far as I know, the end result to all models is the same, they become FBX’s. Unity using the pipe of which ever modeling application to convert the models to FBX and then bring them in.

Just did some tests. I couldn’t see any differences between the two models. So it seems like going straight from c4d is the way to go… Thanks,d
