Importing from Blender

Hello All,

I am very new to all game design software so please feel free to talk to me like a real noob! xD

I have made a small hut which I would like to drape a cloth over. I have created this effect in blender and when I click Alt+A it falls nicely on to the top of the hut.

How can I import this into Unity so when I go into game mode I can see the cloth moving slightly by wind?

If you can point me in the right direct of a good tutorial or jot down some simple steps that would be very much appreciated!

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Bernie

What you get with any cloth simulator (Blender or any other) is a vertex animation, and Unity cannot use them. You can only use bones animations with Unity.

If it is a REALLY needed effect for your game, the only way I can think of would be to export each frame as a separte FBX file, and then call them all, one by one, from the beginning to the end. But be aware you will be consuming lots of resources only for this.
