Importing From Maya Animation Into Unity For The Last Week - Not Working At ALL!

Could anyone please take a look at this file and see what we’re doing wrong in getting these animations to work in Unity? We exported as FBX and MB files and all the character does is bob in place. We’ve been trying to get this sorted out for the last week and we’re at our wits end!

What version of Maya are you using?

Couldn’t open file in 2010…file corrupted

How many frames do you have for your animations? When I was creating my segmented character animations following just by the manual, I didn’t bake my animations was only getting 1 frame so my character didn’t move. I checked the bake animations option was able to fix my issue by specifying which frames to export.

Are the FBXs prefixed with the @ sign?

If all else fails, check the FBX version you’re using…per manual: “Which version of FBX are you using? if in doubt use 2011.3
