importing from maya fbx problems

I have created a road from maya

maya will automatically tile the texture, but when exported as fbx 2012 and imported into unity, only the center portion showing up

also, the road in unity is upside down, the Y axis is reversed

have some encounter the same problem? and how to solve it?

Check the settings on your imported texture. “Wrap Mode” might be set to “Clamp”, which means it won’t repeat.

Or if it’s a Sprite, it needs to be put into Texture mode as well, sprites don’t repeat UVs currently.
