Importing of large meshes

Hello I am trying to import a scene through COLLADA from Poser 7, but I am receiving a message after moving the files into Unity of “Meshes may not have more than 65000 triangles at the moment: Figure_2_node.” Is there a way to increase the triangle count or do I need to reduce it prior to bringing it to Unity3d?

Reduce it or split it into multiple files.

You can have it even in one file, but model must be made from multiple objects.
