When i create a new project in unity3d 3.0 what package i need to import to get the default trees that came with the bootcamp demo to the new project?
Anybody?
It hasn’t even been an hour since you posted. Give it some time
Export them from the Bootcamp demo as a package and import them into another project.

I did that but the trees were imported without the textures, please take a loot at what i got

Any idea?
Up, and please Jesse Anders don’t tell me to wait it is just an hour ago i asked, because the thread went down to the middle page, if you don’t have an answer keep your post to your self.
Anybody???
Many users check the forums once or twice a day. An hour wait is not long at all, but you derailed your own thread with bad manners. Which steps did you take to export them? You probably missed something small.
In the project view, i went to perfabs folder then to trees, I clicked on the trees i want, I mean the files that has a blue cube next to them and from the assets menu i clicked on export package, a window appeared, i clicked export and i used the package in my project and i got what shown in the picture.
I don’t know what is missing, did i made some mistake exporting them?
before exporting ensure to select the dependencies otherwise they are gone (and they = textuers)
I think my earlier reply was actually pretty congenial, but now I’ll be more direct. Bumping your post after less than an hour would be considered bad form on just about any technical forum. I don’t really know how it’s viewed here, but on most technical forums frequent and/or repeated bumping will not be very well received.
But, you are of course free to do as you please.
It loads all the dependencies automatically with the model i tried it with the walls models in the bootcamp demo but not the trees!!!
Can anyone try it and explain what is going on?
One more thing : I am sorry Jesse Anders if i offended you but i am a little bit wasn’t myself, and getting no answer here made me mad a little.
Hehe, you didn’t offend me
Yes, it can be frustrating not to get an answer. The forums move fast, and sometimes a thread can disappear without getting much (or any) attention. I don’t know what the policy on bumping is here, but I doubt bumping once after a day or so would be frowned upon. Sometimes you just have to have a little patience, that’s all
