So here is a scene view
Here is a custom pass:
Here is a view of this cube that was drawn using DrawRenderersCustomPass
Here how it looks when all queue selected instead of AllOpaque
The last one is an expected result.
This worked fine on all prior HDRP version up until now.
Any patch fix would be appreciated.
The reproducable project is attached to the case.
So, the bug was confirmed by the QA. It would be great if someone from Unity could provide a workaround, because I can’t wait half a year before this fix will get into 2022, because this bug is pretty critical.
Any news on this issue? It was configrmed and reproduced by the QA, but there is not much progress since then
Almost 5 months have passed. Not a single replay received. Awesome!
Will write here once a week until I will get an answer.
Also drop the bug link here if there is one.
I have only Unity internal bug ID (it is in the post name), they confirmed a bug but didn’t push it to public. That’s why I am trying to find out the status of the bug. Looks like it stuck in limbo and nothing is happening.
8 months have passed. Not a single reply receieved not here, not in the bug report. Unity 2022.3.24, issue still here. Dear Unity developers, could you please at least close this issue and reply with this information, if you don’t want to fix it, so I could move on.
Hello,
I believe this is the bug you’re referring to: Unity Issue Tracker - Lights (except Directional) are not rendered on GameObjects when the queue is set to All Opaque
It was closed on 21 August 2023. Maybe you missed the notification, or are you referring to another bug report?
Yes, this is that issue thank you. And I didn’t get any notifications about it. May I ask you, why it worked for Unity 2020 and 2021 and suddenly stopped working in 2022? Were where a big changes in the pipeline or custom pass?
Also I set injection point earlier and it still doesn’t work.
