In the large scene, there are lots of building and these building has no any action. It does not like megicity whit lots of moving cars. Is it true that only subscene of dots can improve performace. For the only protagonist,it is same for the ecs of dots and traditional technology.Even,it is better to use traditional technology.
however, if it has many moving grass. These moving grass is better for ecs of dots. Even in this case ,because of the only one,it is better to use traditional for protagonist.
I means which case I should use dots and which case traditional technology is better than dots.
I means, in this case, i can use only subscene of dots. And for one car,I don’t use ESC of dots.After all ,it is only one car, I need not parallel. And in the memory, the traditional technology and ESC is same for one car.
Static scenes being streamed in and out is definately a good fit for DOTS & SubScenes.
You could leave your character as game object if it makes it easier.
Not everything is getting perfectly converted yet. There is still ongoing work for that. So check before you start that it has the features you need in your rendering scene.
I think that dots is in CPU. Is it true? The second floor said that we can do some calculation by GPU. If the moving cars is calculated by GPU. Is dots faster than GPU?
