Incomplete model in Unity

Hi, so I made a holed cube in Maya that looks like this.

I imported this as a native Maya .ma file. It works fine in Unity, except there’s one problem, it won’t show up completely. There are always several sides that just refuse to appear on screen unless the camera’s at a certain angle. I’ve tried changing the render and camera settings and the near and far clipping planes, but it still doesn’t seem to work. I also tried importing it as an FBX, same problem. Does anyone happen to know why this is happening?

Ah, you were right. I didn't consider it to be a normals problem, but it was. All fixed. Thanks! :)

it is the problem with normals issue, Invert the normals in maya, it will be fine.

Try to duplicate the original mesh and flip the normals of the copy. You can also try to “solidify” the mesh. The issue is probably related to the way the normals of your mesh are facing.

Unfortunatly I can’t explain you how to work with normals inside of Maya since I’m mostly using Blender. But there’s plenty of reference available online. See this tutorial here for example
