I’m developing a Google Cardboard experience for both Android and iOS and I’ve run into a bit of conundrum. So far the app runs fairly well on a Samsung Galaxy S7, but the same app has a lower quality image on a Samsung Galaxy S9, an iPhone 8 and on the the Motorola Moto G6.
Any idea how I can begin to fix this? Am I in the right forum for this question? Any help is enormously appreciated!!
In Unity, we’ve built a Google Cardboard app to be run on mobile. When we run it on a Samsung Galaxy S7, the quality of the resolution is pretty good. But when we run the same app on other phones such as the Motorola Moto G6 or even the Samsung Galaxy S9, the resolution is not as good. This even happens on the iPhone. We have also used imported graphics in the form of SVGs and I realize the parameters on these graphics need to be adjusted. If anyone has any experience making SVG graphics look any better I appreciate the feedback!
