Incorrect Shadows

Hi all,

I experience another lighting problem. When i put my object close to my wall, the shadow becomes crazy:

But when i drag it further from the wall surface, the shadow becomes ok.

Here is the tiniest gap between my objects:

And here is what i get in game:

As you understand, i need this object to be closer to the wall.

Does anyone know what’s the reason of this issue?

In the shadow settings, lower the “bias” to move the shadow closer to the object. Be aware, that this will increase shadow artifacts at sharp angles. This is the nature of cascaded shadow maps ;).

Thank you for the advise Reissgrant! However it did not help. The shadows are the same :frowning:

Judging from screenshots you’re better off generating lightmap with ssao. Shadows algorithms are ill-suited for this kind of shadows
