Indie Arcade born dead?

Site:

When I read first time, I get a mix of thinks if they are trying to create a “greenlight” or “one more flash site” style page.

After a better analysis I come in the subject conclusion.

  • The site is unpolish e bugged. I would like to see indegamemagazine review about their own site :stuck_out_tongue:
  • Forced ads before each game. I didn’t see no monetization plan for the developers. We produce content, and do they get the cash? Not much fun.
  • “…offer feedback directly… our forums”, by forum? This is not very inovative for a feature.
  • Play 10 times before register?
  • Leaderboars?
  • Dead? I found no other reference about it in any other post that this.

As an indie developer I depend of this type of initiative, I would like to be wrong. But I really don’t get it, everything appear to be wrong here.

I would like to hear some other opinions.

I dont see what they are offering that other established flash portals dont.

First they try to get revenue from reviewing your game, then back track due to alarm, and now try to monetize with flash titles. Will you learn to give them a break? seriously?

Give them a break, people have to monetize somehow

Browsing those types of sites gives me a headache.

This is a new alarm :stuck_out_tongue:
