Indie Dev Grant: Folk Tale

Hi Folks,

I’ve put forward Folk Tale as a candidate to win the Indie Dev Grant of around $1000, but we need your votes to win. The indie dev grant could help plenty of other devs on the forum, so I’ve written a bit about how the voting works should you consider it for your own Unity project in the future:

If you have a few bucks spare you can help out fellow indie developers while helping a worthy charity and grabbing a bundle of fun games all in one. Please note you have to buy the bundle to be eligible to vote.

Many thanks in advance.

Oops, I broke the blog before going to bed. It’s fixed now.

Is it made with Unity? I’m not voting if not

Folk Tale is indeed made with Unity, and we’ve been posting updates for the last 18 months to the Unity WIP forum:

At the time of posting, we’re in joint second place so could really use the Unity community’s help.

As a side thought, I wonder if UT have thought about running such a fund to back promising Unity projects from the forums?

Hm i m not sure if that is needed. Unity is already proven engine on all kind of genres it doesnt really need promotion of that sort. If thats what you mean.

Anyways good luck with project it keeps getting better and better.
