Our small team at Weird Kid Studios is comprised of a core team containing a 10+ year senior unity engineer , former AAA designer & QA tester, and 3d environment and prop artist are looking for small contract projects to apply our skills and experience to.
Our team has over 20 years of collective development experience across games (console and mobile), VR, and enterprise applications ranging from animation studios to automotive applications . We have collectively worked on multiple projects that have garnered millions of players / users worldwide , launched dozens of projects individually for our previous employers, and together launched our first independent game project (Galactic Bar Fight) for the Oculus Quest last year which has received over 15,000 downloads in its lifetime .
We specialize in rapid prototyping and R&D for new concepts and have created scholarship and grant-winning prototypes and project verticals but also are interested in smaller short term projects as well and will happily tap our other industry contacts beyond our team to deliver a project when necessary.
We pride ourselves on using our combined skillsets to bring worlds and experiences to life and our ability to think up technical solutions for a variety of projects both entertainment and beyond.
