My brother and I have beed working on a geeky point and click adventure game. The game is really funny. It uses geeky scenarios, movie and series quotes and so on to achieve this. Check out the Indiegogo campaign:
Because we are not really artists, we use 3D enviroments that is of course fully functional on mobile platforms but we preserve point and click style. It took us 10 months to get it to where it is at the moments, and it will probably take another 3-4 to complete it. Hope you like it:)
