Infinite Importing

Hello,

I often get infinite importing with my Unity projects and I’m wondering if it’s a package I’m using. It’s random when the infinite importing happens, so removing packages one by one won’t get me anywhere.

I recently made a new project, installed a bunch of packages, and then got infinite importing. It was brand new, so instead of troubleshooting, I decided to just remake the project. So I made a new project, installed the packages, and got infinite importing again.

Is there a way to see what is freezing Unity when I launch? None of this is my code, it’s all Unity packages or top assets from the Unity asset store.

Installed Packages:

Unity 2020.3.21f1
2D Template
Collections 1.0.0-pre.6
Universal RP 10.6.0

Animancer Pro 7.2
Dialogue System for Unity 2.2.21
Easy Save… 3.3.2f7
Odin… 3.0.9
Pro Camera 2D… 2.8.1

If anyone can shed any light on why this happens or what I should be doing to avoid or fix it, that would be immensely helpful. It seems to happen randomly; sometimes rebooting fixes it, sometimes deleting the Library folder fixes it, but then it can happen again after just 2-3 more reboots.

Thank you.

You might need to delete some older files or some corrupted files, just beware there’s a lot of assets/files that can cause this problem.
