InfinityPBR - Character Portrait Mega Packs

Asset Store Link: Pack #1
Asset Store Link: Pack #2

Thank you for checking out this asset!

These packages contain thousands of character portraits created using AI, in dozens of styles. They are created by combining AI portraits (i.e. not of real people) together, while also modifying the art style, turning a photo realistic portrait into a sketch, something painted, or even drawn like a cartoon.

Due to this process, there are sometimes artifacts that are introduced into the final images. These can be photoshopped out if required, but are often not noticed when the image isn’t seen at full resolution.

Each image is presented at 1600x1600 pixels, and look phenomenal at 1024, and very very crisp at 512.

Impressive results, very exciting!

Are there any licensing restrictions to be aware of because of the input data which has been used to train the AI?

Nope it’s all Creative Commons inputs, my own art, and other images created then used as inputs.

Here’s a video showing images morphing together!

Pack 3 should be coming soon!

Some from Pack #4!

Two new packs coming, including sets using a new algorithm, which provides for more variety, more clear details, and far fewer artifacts!

what can I use them for?

whatever you’d like — in game player or npc portraits, website / marketing images, plenty of things

Love these art packs, they’re gorgeous.

Is there a way of purchasing them outside of the Unity Asset store? I’m a tabletop RPG publisher and the Unity EULA prohibits me from using the art outside of digital media.

You can get them at TheGameCrafter.com

However, I also would allow you to use it in your tabletop RPG  So feel free to use that. If you need something in email form, feel free to reach out (andrew at sfbaystudios.com)

They awesome but would be even better with facial expressions like smile, frown, cry, rage… Is it possible that you freelance selected characters for us with expressions for our adventure game?

Unfortunately with the way I make these, that isn’t something I can do.

Is it possible that you add more dwarfish/gnomish/elfish/ etc portraits? I would say…orcish too, but propably the AI wouldn’t handle them gracefully.

Edit: Also, thank you for your portraits! They are awesome, and a lifesaver too!

I’ll keep trying – it’s hard to get away from humans, but there’s a few that are more orc/elf/dwarf like in the later packs. I’ll keep trying for sure though  I make new ones periodically, so expect more packs over time, but no ETA – basically when I have free moments.
