Innerwelt Realtime VIZ

Hi, I’m a veteran 3D artist from Berlin and wanted to share some of my recent works with the community.

I have put some visualization projects using Unity 3D on my website http://www.innerwelt.com and wanted to get some feedback.
The website is in German, but I will give you the direct links to the scenes:
http://www.innerwelt.com/arch-viz.html for Arch VIZ
http://www.innerwelt.com/product-viz.html for Product VIZ
http://www.innerwelt.com/virtual-worlds.html for Underwater Lounge

Just scroll to the bottom of the page and click the IW Logo with the picture.

What do you think about the graphical quality ? Is it clear how to navigate the scenes without any instructions ?
Any bad crashes or incompatibilies with a certain browser or graphics board ?

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to get my hands on Unity 4

Cheers,
Patrick

Everything works great in the web page. The quality is amazing but for some reason your buildings and objects look too clear. like a catalog picture or something. For game propurses i would add some enviromental details / effects. Specially i would work on the textures. Looks like you tile a texture over the materials a lot and makes it loose details. But just and opinion it doesn’t mean the quality is bad. In fact i like it. Specially loved the Delorian.

Hi Patrick,

nice page. I liked the camera on a fixed trajectory better than the free one (in the restaurant). It made it a lot easier for people that are not accustomed to 3D-navigation.

Everything works fine too. I don’t have any problems to navigate through the 3D space. The fixed trajectory is great for getting an overview at all, but for me it would be better if I could interrupt it, especially the one in the underwater world because it’s pretty long. But it looks great, what about a car race game with the Delorian? Making some fire traces on the street…

Hey folks,
thanks for your comments so far ! I will take your advice and try to implement them in the future.

And regarding the DeLorean - mmmh, I should definitely make some fun animation with the model.
By the way - credits for the model go to the talented crew of http://www.viz-people.com , who generously put the car into their free stuff section.
