Hello Unity,
I am having trouble with 3ds max ‘Inset tool’. Most of the time it worked perfectly fine but this time it creating some odd results. If some of you guys use 3ds max 2014, help me out.
I am uploading screenshot for more reference.
Thanks a lot guys!
Best Regards,

Try decreasing the inset amount to something much smaller (like 1.0 or less)
I think this is caused because the inset you try to add is bigger than the available surface. Reduce the inset amount gradually so you understand what is going on. You will notice that the middle, z-fight-riddled red circle goes down, and when reducing the inset amount even more, the “real” inset appears in the middle.
Thanks a lot guys you were both right, you know what mistake I did. I move my mouse upward it not in negative but it creates something els. When moce mouse downward on the spinner it worked perfectly fine
