so nothing is showing up in my inspector. I think i may have deleted something i shouldnt have
Let me know if you solved this @hans_wendel. I got the same issue and even after removing every object in the project (in hope to find the problem). I can open other project with the inspector panel working as normal.
You have to click on the object you want to inspect first.
I had this problem, and I closed the editor and opened it again, and it worked.
(perhaps relevant: I also closed another instance of the editor, and two Visual Studio instances)
