can someone help/explain how this might have happened?
I’ve been downloading and installing 2019.4.3f1 today and I have been working with that editor in one of my projects today.
ProjectVersion.txt shows I’m not crazy:
Resolved it manually be renaming the installation folder “2019.4.3f1” to something else, then clicking “Delete Files” in hub and then adding it again via “Locate”. Still odd but here we go
I see you are using the Hub 2.4.0-beta. If you want a more stable version, please go to Preferences/Advanced and make sure to stay on the Production Release Channel.
There’s a case number from @marwi above hidden a bit below the image:
Case # 1262877
I’ve seen similar behaviour and generally have quite some Hub bugs that are logged and still not solved. @Charles_Beauchemin the Hub 2.4 beta is actually great and solves many of my daily pain points, no way going away from it again
I had a project using the above version but didnt have that Editor installed yet
I clicked on “Install now”
I installed a couple of backends + VS 2019 along with it
Installation was done, I opened the project I wanted with it
While that very Editor was still open I switched to the Hub window just to be greeted by the above message (with this editor opened, from the Hub, in the background)
