I’m trying to install the version of Unity 5.3.2f1 on a Windows 8.0 64-bit. It installs fine. I run the program, it give you the option of free user license. Then i register. I reply the mail to confirm registration. In the Unity program I put the email address and password to continue execution and I get the error “License Error”, see file added. Any idea what the problem is?
No… have you tried sending email to the support address?
I have that happen when Unity cant connect to the license server. Either a firewall, shoddy internet, or lack of permissions. Try to right click the shortcut and “Run As Administrator” and see if that helps just to get your license imported the first time.
Thanks Freakyuno! it was the proxy. I use another connection with no proxy and it works without problems.
