installer for mac os

i am not sure this is the right place to ask this question but i will do it anyway :slight_smile:

so i have this little app of mine, i made a build for mac and win standalone.
i managed to make installer for windows using nsis installer, but what about mac, how people on mac want their
applications packaged? i am looking for a simple solution so do not get wild… :slight_smile:

any help appreciated! thanks!

You don’t make installers for Macs, just use drag’n’drop. There’s some debate about .dmg vs. .zip, but I think it’s generally considered nicer to make a fancy .dmg.

any guidelines for making dmg…currently i just have standalone build for mac? can i make it on windows?
