interior illumination

Hello guys,
I modeled a house,
I want to create lightmaps, I inserted the directional light and shadows, all right,
's outside is very nice, but the interior is dark!,
how can I illuminate the inside?
I tried increasing the value sky lightens but too far out,
I put spot lights but not working well, now I have converted the glass windows of a material that emits light …
thanks

help please

on the free unity, self illum materials don’t cast lights.
Also there are no light bounces so outdoor light will not light the indoor well at all (thats what GI - light bounces are for, to reflect light on ground and walls as physical light does), you need to place so called ambient lights inside, point lights with corresponding setup to pretend to be well lit from the outside for example

ok, I have to use point lights with some scripts?,
speak of area lights, are the normal points or different lights?
thanks

Okey im not an expert on this but you should start using point lite where you do have any light source.
Place a point light where you see its to dark and adjust the light to be what to expect it would look like.
Forget about some illuminate global light. They dont look good and hard to control.
With point light yo can create a scene that look very real.
But it take time to master and its alot to learn about light settings in a scene.
One thing i do know is that a global light really sucks big time.

No need to use scripts. Just point lights set to bake to lightmap and then regenerate the lightmap
