I would like to add fluorescent tube light, CFL, filament lamp, chandelier light, decorative light and so on in the interiors of a house. When I tried point light with less range, I could not see any light distribution in the room or around lamp. Then, I have increased the range and observed that the light gets distributed in the room and also to other rooms below in ground floor. I did not understand how the light is passing through the walls to other rooms when the range is more.

Can any one guide me how to create above mentioned lights for interiors?

I do not want to use light maps.

Hello! Unfortunately what you’re describing requires Deferred Lighting and shadows, which require Unity Pro. Lightmapping will still work, but it’s obviously not dynamic.

Could you tell how to block lights within a particular area? How it leaks through walls ?
