Interview with Thomas Pasieka (Dungeon Legend Creator)

We’ve been talking with Thomas for a while now, so we decided to snag some of his time and talk with him about his latest projects. We shamelessly plug each other’s services and learn a little about the man behind the magazine!

Did I mention there is a bunch of cool screenshots?!

P.S. don’t forget to grab your copies of Unity Creative!

Good interview! Even though at the end it devolved into a plugfest. :stuck_out_tongue:

Still, for new indie gamers like myself, there’s a lot to learn from an interview like this - namely, just find something that is currently being neglected by the current market. In this case, Thomas named turn-based RPGs, as hack-n-slash RPGs are a dime a dozen right now.

I really applaud both Mixamo and Thomas for making this great and educational interview, and thanks for the contact information for 3dattack as well!

EDIT: I’ve also chimed in with a post on my own blog, here. This made me do some good thinking, and I thank Mixamo and Thomas both for that!

Please help support Thomas’ magazine, he’s a great guy and I truly believe, as a Unity user in my own personal time, the magazine is well worth owning and contributing to! Sorry for the plug fest, but come-on, we can’t eat if we don’t sell anything. Can you blame us?

P.S. glad you could learn a little from it. He is a knowledgeable man.

I do not support the magazine. The magazine supports me

Hey everybody! Thanks to Mixamo for interviewing me. I’m happy to hear that some of you got something out of it. Thanks Andrews (Asvarduil) for posting such nice things about me/us on your blog as well!!

Turn based RPG’s have always interested me personally way more than any action RPG but that’s really just a personal thing. There is nothing wrong with action RPG’s a la “Diablo” - I still love Diablo. Anyhow, thanks everybody for reading and commenting!

Thomas P.

Thanks everyone, thanks Asvarduil we appreciate it.

Thomas works hard to support the community with great information and insights into people, not just Mixamo. Keep it up Tom!
