Invalid path in AssetBundleProvider

Hi there. Using Addressables in the project (Unity 2020.1, Addressables 1.8.4) and lately it refused to work with next message:

Exception encountered in operation Resource(defaultlocalgroup_assets_all_3bac8188996376d6e98a549874cac8d2.bundle): Invalid path in AssetBundleProvider: ‘fe20117bba0a61843916a39c8eb255ea/defaultlocalgroup_assets_all_3bac8188996376d6e98a549874cac8d2.bundle’.
UnityEngine.ResourceManagement.AsyncOperations.AsyncOperationBase`1:<.ctor>b__33_0(AsyncOperationHandle)

I tried clean build, rebuilding the addressable assets groups, switching platforms, upgrading package to latest. So that said I cannot make build.

We have seen this issue as well when we’ve sent a build to people and it doesn’t work on their PC even when it works on ours and others. Current hypothesis is that the (windows) path length limit is being reached, because they install the game into a deep path hierarchy on their machine.
