Invert mouse Y axis


First of all, yes I did searched on google and checked out all the resulting answers but I still don’t understand how to do it.
So, with this out of the way, how do I invert the Y axis of the mouse input? I need an option like this for my game.

I understand that the I need:

  1. a bool to store if the mouse is inverted or not
  2. something like (isInverted == 1) float verticalInput = Input.GetAxis(“Vertical”) * (-1) to invert axis

But somethign is not OK. I don’t know how to forward this info to my input. It’s really confusing. Can someone help me please?
