Invisible model

i exported my model but when i put it into the scene, i couldn’t see 2 of the sides but then i moved the camera and i saw them. but the other 2 sides disspaeared. can someone tell me how to see them “permanently” ?

thaks

Grml, Unity Answer just killed my answer. So typing everything AGAIN:

  • check your normal consistency and/or polygon orientation in 3Dmax (“inside” vs. “outside”)
  • if you model e.g. a wall, model both sides, don’t use just one single polygon
  • don’t use the CharacterController myself, so not sure how it behaves with inconsistent face orientations when using MeshColliders
  • if it’s just the rendering you want to fix, use a “twosided” shader. but lighting might still look wrong then.

PS: I didn’t downvote your first question. But since you apparently DELETED it just because somebody downvoted it for some reason, I DID downvote THIS question, since I lost my finished answer I was gonna post because of that! So don’t even think about deleting this question as well.
