When I go to use muse.unity.com, it tells me to sign up to the beta. However, I have an invite email.
I have a hunch as to what could be wrong. The email I used to sign up for the beta is different than the email associated with my account. The company I work for changed email domains when I created this Unity account. The old domain is what is associated with my Unity account.
It would be easy for me to update the email on this account, except for the fact that I’m using SSO. (Curiously, I use the new email address to trigger the SSO, even though my old email is associated with my account.) Whenever I try to change my email, after logging in, the Unity ID website immediately redirects to my account settings page. Even if I quickly copy and paste my new email domain to change it, the changes aren’t reflected in my account.
If that doesn’t work, and to be able to properly follow up on each and every one of your requests and not share personal information in this forum, can you please fill out this bug report with the following information?
Email you received your invitation to (and used to log in)
Will there be any way to test the beta without having to change the email on our account? I signed up using my work email, but I don’t actually have a Unity account under that (and prefer not to associated my Unity one with work, as I also do freelance work on the side).
Hi @Osteel, there are two ways to access Muse Chat in beta instead of changing the email. Either you create another UnityID with your work email, or you can apply for the AI-beta program again using the email currently registered to your UnityID.
If you do the latter, please file a jira ticket referring to this thread. Thank you!
I’ve applied with my gmail address, but I realized that I’m using an old one on current account. And gmail one is an empty account. So I’ve deleted that one and changed my current account to gmail address (should have done that long time ago, since nobody should trust Yandex anymore). Should I be able to use Muse now?
Switching the email on my account did nothing, and switching it back also did nothing. Filed a ticket the other day and sent another request to access. It’s a shame this doesn’t work.
Try sending some message first and after that send “i already join the beta” or “I’m already in beta” all something like that and after you send it should be work. if it doesn’t work try login and logout again.
I also encountered this problem. i try this method and its work few minutes later after i keep spamming that word and relog. maybe you can try this too.
