iOS and Android Builds Failing with Perforce Authentication Problems

Our iOS and Android builds have just started to fail with the following errors even though the Perforce password for the user that UCB uses has not changed. Re-entering the password did not help. Oddly we have a OSX build running in parallel which is working fine.

33: Perforce password (%‘P4PASSWD’%) invalid or unset.
34: P4: Unable to use Workspace: com.perforce.p4java.exception.RequestException: Perforce password (%‘P4PASSWD’%) invalid or unset.
35: P4 Task: establishing connection.
36: Perforce password (%‘P4PASSWD’%) invalid or unset.
37: P4: Unable to setup workspace: com.perforce.p4java.exception.RequestException: Perforce password (%‘P4PASSWD’%) invalid or unset.
38: ERROR: P4: Unable to setup workspace: com.perforce.p4java.exception.RequestException: Perforce password (%‘P4PASSWD’%) invalid or unset.

Hello, I am investigating this issue and will post here when I have more information.

Thank you Chris. Unfortunately our “solution” of recreating projects also fails with the same error after a few builds so we would be very grateful for any help.

Hi Chris,

Do you have an update on this issue that you can share please? We’re now unable to use UCB to create builds and will have to start looking for alternative solutions.
