iOS App store approved app Build is Crashing randomly on iPhones 16.x

I don’t know what to do:

I tested extensively given a macbook air (juggling 121 gbs of space) and tested on devices from friends and family with software updated to 17.x. There were no issues and we released the app and we’re approved on the App Store and Play Store
Now we found from starting our campaigning that randomly, devices with 16.2.2 and 16.6 (the 16 family in general) have been crashing before the app can open. We have been getting alot of messages from potential users that they cannot open the app because on first open it starts the app but instantly crashes.

This is a grainy video messaged to us from one of our potential users.

There are no Unity Cloud Logs of crashes available or on my apple developer account.
The only thing I really found for information is: Unity 2021.3.6f1, Xcode 14, iOS 16 Problem: UnityFramework crash before main()

Which doesn’t really help for build but only run.

I built my app originally in 2023.1.18f1
It works great for android, no reported issues, and any iphone to my knowledge with iOS 17 installed from iPhone 12 to the latest iPhone.

Can anyone help out with some direction, ChatGPT isn’t really being helpful in this scenario either.

I haven’t been able to obtain futher diagnostic information about iphones and due to my limited harddrive space on my macbook air I can’t download and install the simulater for 16 even if I clear unity hub, unity, and cached files from my computer. I can’t install these packages on an external either.

Can’t even install it on a 16.3.1 device, app store says need iOS17

I had to up the version minimum requirement so that we could ensure the app works for all platforms.

If your willing to test, which I would be very grateful for, I can send you an internal demo link to an Apple id.

I am trying to upgrade unity to 2023.2.19 but I am getting an error with cannot find part path Hub/Editor/2023.2.19f1/Unity.app/Contents/UnityReferenceAssemblies/unity-4.8-api/Facades

This is blocking me being able to upgrade the unity version

Ideally you should submit a bug report with that project so our internal QA could verify the issue
