Hi crew,
I’m having an issue during my app submission process for Apple Connect. Everything has worked fine during beta testing. For my latest build, I’ve had about two dozen testers try my app on various iOS devices using Apple’s TestFlight.
The reviewer rejected my app for the following reason:
Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness
We still discovered one or more bugs in your app. Specifically, we found that the main screen of your app is unresponsive to any selection that is tapped. Please review the details below and complete the next steps.
Review device details:
-
Device type: iPhone and iPad
-
OS version: iOS 14.3
Steps to reproduce:
-
Launch App
-
Tap “I understand and accept the terms above”
-
Tap “I understand and accept responsibility.”
-
App unresponsive
I’m at a bit of a loss on how to resolve this as I cannot replicate it, and neither can my beta testers. I asked for clarification on how they define " app unresponsive" and they state that they cannot click on any button after accepting the initial terms and conditions.
The working terms and conditions UI is simple checkbox toggles. After accepting the T&C they claim that the buttons on the home screen do not give any response.
With that said, does anyone have any idea why I haven’t encountered this issue with the Windows build, testing the app directly on my physical device, nor during beta testers using TestFlight, yet the app reviewers at Apple Connect experience this?
This is built with Unity, and I haven’t had any issues at all with the initial process of uploading and testing my app with TestFlight. This is built with Unity version 2019.4.1f1. Please let me know if you have any questions about how my UI is set up, build settings, or any other information you may need.
Thanks,
Fraccas
