Maybe I’m an idiot, but I can’t get my app to build onto my ipad. I’ve downloaded and installed the sdk. I have registered my device. I have transfered my previously built android app to my mac (it builds fine on the mac). When I try to do a build for the ipad I get “The identity iphone developer doesnt match any valid certificate/private key in the default keychain”

I previously created a key for the android build…can it not be the same for the ipad?

The notes here say to go to the ios program portal…and there it says pay $99…do I have to pay to simply compile?

Any advice to a noobie ios developer would be greatly appreciated.

You need to pay to get into the Apple system, so you can create the certificates and keys for Apple devices. Android key will not work.

Really? You have to pay to develop apps? That kinda sucks.
